AB  - The paper analyzes the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in enterprises in the
European Union member states. The objectives of the analysis were to examine the level reached in the
application of ICT in European enterprises and explore the differences in ICT usage that exist between the
EU member states. The analysis is based on the Eurostat data on ICT usage in enterprises in the European
Union countries (EU-28) for the years 2018 and 2017. The following indicators of ICT usage were analyzed:
fixed broadband access, the speed of the internet connections, the presence of the Internet (enterprises
having a website), the use of social media, the use of cloud computing services, e-commerce indicators
(the share of the enterprises making e-sales and the share of e-commerce in the total turnover) and the
indicators of e-business integration - the share of the enterprises using enterprise resource planning
(ERP), customer relationship management (CRM) and the supply chain management (SCM) software
applications. A comparative analysis of the EU countries by the value of these indicators was carried out.
The main focus in the analysis was to identify the factors that influence the difference in the value of the
ICT indicators between the countries. The analysis has shown that the regional position, the geographic
characteristics, the size of the country and the level of its economic development are the factors that
influence these differences.
AB  - U radu se analizira primena informaciono-komunikacionih tehnologija (IKT) u preduzećima u zemljama članicama Evropske unije (EU). Ciljevi analize bili su da se ispita dostignuti nivo u primeni IKT u preduzećima i da se istraže razlike u korišćenju IKT koje postoje među zemljama članicama EU. U analizi su korišćeni podaci EUROSTAT-a o primeni IKT u preduzećima Evropske unije (EU-28) za 2017. i 2018. Analizirani su sledeći indikatori primene IKT u preduzećima: širokopojasna internet konekcija, brzina internet konekcije, prisustvo na internetu (posedovanje Web sajta), korišćenje društvenih medija, korišćenje cloud računarstva, indikatori e-trgovine (udeo preduzeća koja prodaju svoje proizvode preko interneta i učešće e-trgovine u ukupnom prometu), i indikatori integrisanosti e-poslovanja (udeo preduzeća koja koriste integralni poslovni software, software za upravljanje odnosima sa klijentima i softver za upravljanje lancem snabdevanja). Izvršena je komparativna analiza zemalja EU po vrednosti ovih indikatora, sa ciljem da se utvrdi koji faktori utiču na razlike u vrednosti indikatora među zemljama. Analiza je pokazala da su regionalni položaj, geografske karakteristike, veličina zemlje i dostignut nivo ekonomskog razvoja faktori koji utiču na ove razlike.

AB  - The aim of this paper is to explore the development of agricultural statistics in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in 1918-1941 period. Collecting statistical data on agriculture was a duty of the Ministry of Agriculture. The paper reveals how the Ministry performed this job, which data were collected and in which publications these data were published. The development of agricultural statistics has been analysed by applying historical method. Comparison with agricultural statistics of certain European countries has been made by applying comparative method. It has been concluded that agricultural statistics in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia recorded significant improvements during the interwar period: all relevant data were collected, international standards were met, and publications were modernized. As for the manner of conducting statistical research and presentation of statistical data, they were in the spirit of the time and responded to the achieved level of development of statistics in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

AB  - In this paper, we analyse the usage of information and communication technologies (ICT) in enterprises in Serbia. The analysis is based on the data generated from the statistical survey of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia for 2016 (ICT Usage - Enterprises) and on the Eurostat data on the usage of ICT in enterprises in the EU Member States (EU-28). We observed the following indicators of the usage of ICT: fixed broadband access, speed of Internet connections, employment of ICT specialists, Internet presence (enterprises having a website), use of social media, use of cloud computing services, enterprises engaged in e-commerce (percentage of enterprises and share of online sales in total turnover). Based on these indicators, the comparison with the EU Member States has been made. It has been found that the accomplished level of the usage of ICT in enterprises in the Republic of Serbia is above the European average, yet still below the level of the developed EU economies. When cloud computing services and the development of web-based sales are considered, Serbia still lags behind the EU Member States.
AB  - U radu je analizirana primena informaciono-komunikacionih tehnologija (IKT) u preduzećima u Srbiji. Analiza je zasnovana na podacima Republičkog zavoda za statistiku za 2016. godinu koji se dobijaju statističkim istraživanjem 'Upotreba informaciono-komunikacionih tehnologija u privrednim društvima' i na podacima Eurostat-a o primeni IKT u preduzećima u zemljama članicama Evropske unije (EU-28). Posmatrani su sledeći indikatori upotrebe IKT: širokopojasna internet konekcija, brzina internet konekcije, zapošljavanje IKT stručnjaka, prisustvo na internetu (posedovanje vebsajta), korišćenje društvenih medija, korišćenje usluga cloud računarstva, pokazatelji elektronske trgovine (procenat preduzeća koja učestvuju u elektronskoj trgovini i učešće e-trgovine u ostvarenom prometu). Na osnovu ovih indikatora, izvršeno je poređenje sa zemljama Evropske unije. Ocenjeno je da je dostignut nivo u primeni IKT u preduzećima u Srbiji iznad evropskog proseka, mada još uvek ne na nivou razvijenih evropskih ekonomija, naročito kada je u pitanju korišćenje usluga cloud računarstva i razvoj elektronske trgovine, u kojima Srbija još uvek zaostaje za evropskim zemljama.

AB  - The objectives of this Paper have been to examine which data on agriculture can be found in the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia Database, and what are the possibilities for the use of the Database in the research and analysis of agriculture. The Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia Database physically represents normalized database formed in DBMS SQL Server. The methodological approach to the Paper subject is primarily related to modelling and the way of using Database. The options of accession, filtering and downloading of data from the Database are explained. The technical characteristics of the Database were described, indicators of agriculture listed and the possibilities of using Database were analysed. We examined whether these possibilities could be improved. It was concluded that improvements were possible, first, by enriching Database with data that are now only available in printed publications of the Office, and then, through methodological and technical improvements by redesigning the Database modelled on cloud founded databases. Also, the application of the achievements of the new multidisciplinary scientific field - Visual Analytics would improve visualization, interactive data analysis and data management.
AB  - Ciljevi ovog rada bili su da se istraži koji se podaci o poljoprivredi mogu pronaći u Bazi podataka Republičkog zavoda za statistiku Srbije i kakve su mogućnosti za primenu Baze podataka u istraživanju i analizi poljoprivrede. Baza podataka Republičkog zavoda za statistiku fizički predstavlja normalizovanu bazu podataka formiranu u DBMS SQL Serveru. Metodološki pristup temi rada odnosi se na modeliranje i način korišćenja Baze podataka. Objašnjene su opcije pristupanju, filtriranju i preuzimanju podataka iz Baze podataka. Opisane su tehničke karakteristike Baze, nabrojani su indikatori poljoprivrede, analizirane su mogućnosti korišćenja Baze podataka. Ispitano je da li ove mogućnosti mogu da se unaprede kroz poboljšanje načina skladištenja i pristupa podacima. Zaključeno je da su poboljšanja moguća, i to obogaćivanjem Baze podataka podacima iz oblasti poljoprivrede koji su za sada raspoloživi samo u štampanim publikacijama Zavoda, a zatim, kroz metodološka i tehnička poboljšanja, redizajniranjem Baze podataka po ugledu na cloud zasnovane baze podataka. Takođe, primena dostignuća novog multidisciplinarnog naučnog polja - Vizuelne analitike poboljšala bi vizuelizaciju, interaktivnu analizu podataka i upravljanje podacima.
