Abstract
We have tried in this paper to show and explain by means of the clinical case study to what extent and what kind of influence the primary family environment has on formation and manifestation of deviation and delinquent behavior. We were particularly interested in certain levels of family communication functioning especially from the point of view of the system theory (which includes both alcoholism and delinquency). We have therefore assumed that alcoholism is a cover for primary personality disorders developed during the formative years, and that the family structure is one of the important factors. The sample included male alcoholics who were pronounced the measure of obligatory treatment from alcoholism and who were sentenced to imprisonment for the committed criminal act, at the average age of 40 and of lower social status and education. The appropriate techniques for clinical exploration and psycho-technical instruments - MMPI, VITI Machoever technique - were applied. The results... showed that there is a trans-generational transmission of alcoholism through the reproduction of the same system of family interrelations and personal manner of functioning where the more important factor was the complete but dysfunctional family than the incomplete family itself. The lack and impossibility of adequate sublimation of aggressiveness, but also the libido disorders were registered. The basic emotions and manners of behavior shown as depression anxiety, psychopathy, were substantiated by the facts of characteristically and deeply disturbed emotional communication within family, as well as the physical child abuse.
