The paper deals with only one segment of Isaac Adiges’ copious scientific work placing special emphasis on hi side as presented in his book "Control of Changes". The analysis of these ideas suggests that they may be used as an adequate starting point for the foundation and development of the theory as well as the promotion of the police management practice. The author has tried to find adequate answers related to the current security challenges and threats emphasizing an irreplaceable role of the police management in a more efficient control of crime.
U ovom radu se izlaže jedan segment iz bogatog naučnog stvaralaštva Isaka Adižesa - konkretno, njegova shvatanja izložena u knjizi Upravljanje promenama. Analiza navedenih shvatanja pokazuje da ona mogu biti odgovarajuće polazište za utemeljenje i izgradnju teorije, kao i za unapređenje prakse policijskog menadžmenta. Rad je uslovljen snažnom potrebom iznalaženja adekvatnih odgovora savremenim bezbednosnim izazovima i pretnjama, a posebno efikasnijeg suzbijanja kriminaliteta i nezamenljive uloge policijskog menadžmenta u tome.
