AB  - The wide application of the AlMgSiCu alloy type in almost all industry branches, needs permanent improvement of their properties. This paper deals with specific structural changes of alloy caused by thermo mechanical and laser treatment by different operation dynamical regimes of treatment (ruby laser; λ = 6694,3 x 10-9; Q switch). Structural changes are observed by transmission (TEM) and sening (SEM) microscope. The testing results are presented micro graphically. Special attention is aroused by changes in material structure caused by laser treatment.
AB  - Široka primena legura tipa AlMgSiCu u gotovo svim industrijskim granama zahteva njihovo stalno usavršavanje i poboljšanje njihovih osobina. Ovaj rad razmatra specifične strukturne promene legure uzrokovane termomehaničkom i laserskom obradom različitim radnim dinamičkim režimima obrade (ruby laser; λ = 6694,3 x 10-9; Q switch). Strukturne promene su posmatrane transmisionim (TEM) i sening (SEM) mikroskopom. Rezultati ispitivanja su prikazani mikrografijom. Posebnu pažnju pobuđuju promene u strukturi materijala prouzrokovane laserskom obradom.

AB  - In this paper low-carbon steel which 3,8-4,2% Si and 0,08% C transformer plates exposed to the radiation of ruby laser in Q-switch and free generation regimes are examined. Investigations were carried out at atmospheric pressure under the laboratory conditions. Transformer plates were subjected to very high temperature gradients under heating and cooling conditions where the former is correlated to pulse characteristic and the later to material. Preliminary investigations were carried out by laser drilling and resulting traces on material were recorded by scanning electron microscope to find out the influence of different energies and pulse lengths on structural changes in the material, but wide application of transformer plates in electrical and mechanical engineering demands finding the regimes of thermomechanical processing and also the technology of cutting and connecting in the sense of conservation of magnetic characteristics.
AB  - U ovom radu ispitivanja su izvedena na niskougljeničnim čelicima sa 3,8-4,2% Si i 0,08% S koji su izlagani dejstvu rubinskog lasera u režimu gigantskih impulsa (Q-switch) i slobodne generacije. Ispitivanja su izvedena na atmosferskom pritisku u laboratorijskim uslovima. Transformatorski limovi su podvrgavani vrlo velikim temperaturnim gradijentima u uslovima grejanja i hlađenja, od kojih je prvi vezan za karakteristiku impulsa, a drugi za materijal. Preliminarna ispitivanja izvedena su bušenjem laserskim snopom, a ostvareni otisci na materijalu snimani su skaning elektronskim mikroskopom s ciljem da se definiše uticaj različitih energija i vremena impulsa na strukturne promene u materijalu, jer velika primena niskougljeničnih čelika sa 3,8-4,2% Si i 0,08% S u elektronici i mašinstvu zahteva definisanje režima termomehaničke obrade, a takođe i tehnologiju rezanja i spajanja u smislu očuvanja magnetnih karakteristika.

AB  - Studying of processes connected with continuous casting is equally important from technical, economical and technological aspect. All of the previous experimental research [1,2] had shown functional connection between appearance of differences in temperatures during crystallization and differences in microstructure of materials. This problem has been overcame by putting 'the arranger of metals' on given installation. Meanwhile theoretic research of these processes contributes in attainment of reliable quality rate of process, which basically uses non-linear mathematical model for unstationary temperature field. Such a model uses numerical methods with computer appliance. Purpose of this paper was to determine position and depth of solidification zone, also the time of solidification, by using certain mathematical model. Based on everything that has been stated here one can also determine the size of interdendrite distance, which is rather important for analysis of structure obtained in process of casting.
AB  - Proučavanje procesa povezanih sa kontinuiranim livenjem podjednako je važno sa tehničkog, ekonomskog i tehnološkog aspekta. Sva prethodna eksperimentalna istraživanja Š1,2Ć pokazuju funkcionalnu zavisnost između pojave razlike temperature u toku kristalizacije i razlike u mikrostrukturi materijala. Taj problem je savladan postavljanjem 'raspoređivača metala' na postojeći uređaj. Međutim, teorijska istraživanja tih procesa doprinose postizanju pouzdanosti u kvalitetu procesa, pri čemu se u osnovi koristi nelinearni matematički model za nestacionarna temperaturna polja. Takav model podrazumeva primenu numeričkih metoda kompjuterom. Cilj ovog rada sastoji se u određivanju pozicije i dubine zone očvršćavanja, kao i vremena očvršćavanja, korišćenjem pouzdanog matematičkog modela. Na osnovu svega ovde utvrđenog, takođe se može odrediti veličina međudendritnog rastojanja koje je vrlo važno za analizu strukture dobijene u procesu livenja.
