One Aggregated Approach in Multidisciplinary Based Modeling to Predict Further Students’ Education

AB  - In this paper, one multidisciplinary-applicable aggregated model has been proposed and verified. This model uses traditional techniques, on the one hand, and algorithms of machine learning as modern techniques, on the other hand, throughout the determination process of the relevance of model attributes for solving any problems of multicriteria decision. The main goal of this model is to take advantage of both approaches and lead to better results than when the techniques are used alone. In addition, the proposed model uses feature selection methodology to reduce the number of attributes, thus increasing the accuracy of the model. We have used the traditional method of regression analysis combined with the well-known mathematical method Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). This approach has been combined with the application of the ReliefF classificatory modern ranking method of machine learning. Last but not least, the decision tree classifier J48 has been used for aggregation purposes. Information on grades of the first-year graduate students at the Criminalistics and Police University, Belgrade, after they chose and finished one of the three possible study modules, was used for the evaluation of the proposed model. To the best knowledge of the authors, this work is the first work when considering mining closed frequent trees in case of the streaming of time-varying data.

AB  - Over the past years, great effort was directed to make the various information systems interoperable, as the lack of interoperability was recognized as a major obstacle to progress on the general digitalization processes. Implementation of interoperability framework is challenged especially regarding large IT systems on EU level using and developing in the area of border management. In this paper, the main components and current status of development will be presented, including those searching portal, common biometric system, common identity data repository, and multiple identity detector. Following this approach, the use of a shared biometric matching service, as a digital forensic method, has a goal to allow users to perform more efficiently search and cross-match biometric data. Furthermore, a common identity repository will enable easy access to biographical information, so a person can be more reliably identified, and with a multiple identity detector, it will be possible to detect multiple identities.

AB  - The main motivation to conduct the study presented in this paper was the fact that due to the development of improved solutions for prediction risk of bleeding and thus a faster and more accurate diagnosis of complications in cirrhotic patients, mortality of cirrhosis patients caused by bleeding of varices fell at the turn in the 21th century. Due to this fact, an additional research in this field is needed. The objective of this paper is to develop one prediction model that determines most important factors for bleeding in liver cirrhosis, which is useful for diagnosis and future treatment of patients. To achieve this goal, authors proposed one ensemble data mining methodology, as the most modern in the field of prediction, for integrating on one new way the two most commonly used techniques in prediction, classification with precede attribute number reduction and multiple logistic regression for calibration. Method was evaluated in the study, which analyzed the occurrence of variceal bleeding for 96 patients from the Clinical Center of Nis, Serbia, using 29 data from clinical to the color Doppler. Obtained results showed that proposed method with such big number and different types of data demonstrates better characteristics than individual technique integrated into it.

AB  - Some  of  the  classical  methods  of  identification,  which  according  to  the  general  characteristics  of  biometrics,  acquire  a  completely  new  meaning  in  the  digital  environment.  Namely, the development aimed at achieving interoperability, standardization and application of the principles of electronic business in the environment of modern technological solutions enables identification methods based on biometric data to experience their flourishing and new affirmation.  The  technical  technological  solution  of  the  system  for  AFIS  (Automated  finger  identification system) and FIIS (Facial image identification system) are systems that are being developed as one of the answers to the need for quick identification of persons. The application of the system for automatic identification of persons with the help of fingerprints and photographs modernizes and improves performance and efficiency of the police work around the world and other investigative bodies in order to combat crime.

AB  - It is incomprehensible that the digital era is increasingly developing and applying electronic business. The use of electronic data stored in certain databases, electronic communications and electronic processing of large amounts of data in the performance of business processes of natural and legal persons is evidently increasing, in response to the challenges that electronic business brings, development and harmonization of the normative framework as in the domain of increasing the efficiency of business as well as the challenges that the digital era carries with it especially from the aspect of protection of personal data. The new European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been in place since May 2018, while implementation at the national level begins in the second half of 2019, experience and challenges are the subject of current considerations. The challenges posed by the implementation of the normative framework must also be followed from the forensic aspect in response to potential violations and non-compliance with legal norms, which requires the development and application of new procedures and tools in this area. It is also evident that there is a need to raise the level of knowledge in this field, bearing in mind the specificity of the relation between the normative and technological aspect and the research that is being carried out in this field, both from the aspect of consideration and confidence in the reliability of the application of electronic commerce from the aspect of obtaining and processing information related to forensic aspects in the digital world. The topic of the discussion are precisely these issues that relate to the challenges in electronic commerce both from the aspect of protection of personal data and from the aspect of digital forensics.

AB  - The paper aims to present the results of study on how certain types of vehicles with malfunctioning technical parts affect traffic safety in the Republic of Serbia between 1997 and 2014. The following methods were used in the paper: statistical method, comparative method, analysis of frequency of defined traffic accident causes, Pearson linear correlation with a modelled algorithm for data processing. The technical malfunction of vehicles as a cause for accident occurrence has a share of 0,72% in the total number of accidents. The most common cause of accidents lies with malfunctioning lights or light-signalling devices on vehicles. The technical malfunction of vehicles has the highest value of 1,65% in accidents with fatalities and the biggest correlation between accidents at police district and accidents on national level is recorded with accidents in which only material damages were sustained. The research results can be used for comparison on regional level, so as for developing of the model of analysis of the causes of traffic accidents in Serbia and in the region.

abstract = "The paper aims to present the results of study on how certain types of vehicles with malfunctioning technical parts affect traffic safety in the Republic of Serbia between 1997 and 2014. The following methods were used in the paper: statistical method, comparative method, analysis of frequency of defined traffic accident causes, Pearson linear correlation with a modelled algorithm for data processing. The technical malfunction of vehicles as a cause for accident occurrence has a share of 0,72% in the total number of accidents. The most common cause of accidents lies with malfunctioning lights or light-signalling devices on vehicles. The technical malfunction of vehicles has the highest value of 1,65% in accidents with fatalities and the biggest correlation between accidents at police district and accidents on national level is recorded with accidents in which only material damages were sustained. The research results can be used for comparison on regional level, so as for developing of the model of analysis of the causes of traffic accidents in Serbia and in the region.",

AB  - Forming of integrated maintenance model of hydroelectric power plant components comprises most significant parameters of theoretical and experimental analyses. Forming of this model started with overall component failures and optimization parameters of hydroelectric power plant technical diagnostic procedures. Analyses of a model must show limits up to which analyzed compositions in exploitation process operate properly and safely. Model of optimization of technical diagnostics represents a specific approach to a problem of maintenance according to condition and is related to the concept of condition parameters control which represents basis for producing optimal solution of technical diagnostics procedures for hydroelectric power plant components.

AB  - This study analyses the condition and quality of the environment which is endangered by typical pollutants present in urban areas. The main sources of air pollution are power sector (mostly power plants), transport sector (motor vehicles) and industrial plants. Among these substances the most common and most harmful to human health and biological systems is sulphur dioxide. The effects of sulphur dioxide are sensed very easily, most people experience the symptoms after 10 divided by 15 minutes. Therefore the concentration of sulphur dioxide in the air is taken as a referent parameter for the assessment of air quality and evaluation of air pollution. In this study the metallurgy plant which processes 1000 tons of copper-chalcopyrite ore daily is analysed as the illustrative example. By using Gaussian mathematical model the distribution of ground concentration of sulphur dioxide is analysed for the different heights of chimneys and different emissions in stable and unstable atmospheric conditions. Calculation of distribution and spreading of sulphur dioxide covers the period of 24 hours after the release into the atmosphere. The results are compared with the legally permissible limit value concentrations.

Cracking caused by cutting of plasma-sprayed hydroxyapatite coatings and its relation to the structural features of coatings deposited at different initial substrate temperatures

AB  - The present study estimated the cracking phenomenon in as-plasma-sprayed hydroxylapatite coatings (HACs) after they were being subjected to the severe cutting conditions in the direction perpendicular to the coating/substrate interface. In order to evaluate the effects of substrate preheating on the occurrence of micro-cracks, the HACs were deposited at different initial substrate temperatures (T-S = 20, 100 and 200 degrees C). The changes in phase composition and HA splat morphology with T-S were observed and were correlated with the cracking occurrence. The results showed that severe cutting conditions introduced a localized cracking in the regions of HACs dominantly attributed to the brittle hydroxyl- deficient amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) phase. This effect was particularly observable in the HACs deposited without preheating of substrate. On the other hand, the preheating of substrate reduced the presence of micro-cracks and caused insignificant changes in the average local phase composition. In HACs deposited with preheating of substrate, the HA splats (of which HACs are composed) were thinner and recrystallized HA regions seemed smaller in size and more evenly distributed. These results implied potentially important roles of the HA splat formation mechanism on the distribution of ACP and recrystallized HA regions in the as-plasma-sprayed HACs and the cracking resistance of HACs.

AB  - Motor vehicle fires represent a specific field of research within scientific field of fire protection. A considerably larger part of this research is dedicated to the causes of vehicle fires and the manners of their detection. However, little attention is dedicated to research of potential fire development once it has already started and the possibilities of its transferring to nearby materials and objects. This type of research is aimed at determining 'safe' distance from a vehicle on fire in order to postpone as much as possible or prevent igniting of surrounding materials, vehicles and parts of nearby facilities. The results of this type of research can be applied on determining 'safe' distance when designing parking lots, subterranean garages and generally the spaces where several parked vehicles can be found or in cases a facility is located in their vicinity.
AB  - Požari na motornim vozilima predstavljaju specifičnu oblast istraživanja u okviru naučne oblasti zaštite od požara. Značajno veći deo tog istraživanja posvećen je uzrocima požara na vozilima i načinima za njihovo utvrđivanje. Međutim, manja pažnja se posvećuje istraživanjima koja se odnose na potencijalni razvoj požara, kada do njega već dođe, i mogućnostima prenošenja požara na materijale i objekte koji se nalaze u blizini. Ovakav tip istraživanja ima za cilj određivanje 'bezbednog' rastojanja od vozila koje je u požaru u smislu da što kasnije dođe, ili da uopšte ne dođe do paljenja okolnog materijala, vozila i delova objekta u neposrednoj blizini. Rezultati ovakvog tipa istraživanja mogu da se primene za određivanje 'bezbednog' rastojanja pri projektovanju parkinga, podzemnih garaža i uopšte prostora na kojima istovremeno može da se nađe više parkiranih vozila ili se u blizini nalazi neki objekat.

Effects of friction-welding parameters on the morphological properties of an Al/Cu bimetallic joint

AB  - The objective of this research is to consider the effects of certain parameters of the friction-welding process on the morphology of an aluminum/copper joint. The effect of the following parameters was monitored: the operating time, the operating pressure, the forging time and the forging pressure. The speed was constant during the binding process and reached 1500 min(-1). The preparation of the welding materials was performed in accordance with the industrial production conditions. With the SEM-EDS analysis, it was found that the morphology of the Al/Cu interface slightly changes when we change the distance from the rotation axis, irrespective of the combination of the friction-welding parameters. Apart from this, the joined effects of the operating pressure of 48 MPa and the forging pressure of 160 MPa caused a morphological change of the Al/Cu interface, while the forging time at the moment of the combined pressurizing effect significantly influenced the modification of the Al/Cu interface shape within a very narrow time interval of only a few seconds.

Analysis of the emission of SO2, NOx, and suspended particles from the thermal power plants Kostolac (Serbia)

AB  - The environmental situation related to the thermal power basin of Kostolac for the most part represents the result of the influence of the thermal power plants (TPPs) of Kostolac A, Kostolac B, and the open-pit lignite mine. The quality of air is monitored by continuously measuring concentrations of the overall precipitation matters and gases such as CO2, SO2, NOx, CO, and O-3. Values significantly exceeding the legal limits have been found for pollutants in the surroundings of the TPPs Kostolac A and B and in the direction of dominant winds. The paper analyzes the impact of different scenarios of emission of harmful matters from the blocks of TPPs Kostolac A and B on the quality of air in this part of Serbia. The Gaussian model has been used to evaluate dispersion of gas substances and suspended particulates as well as parameters related to the surroundings. Calculations have been made relating to ground-level concentrations of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide, and suspended particles at varying distances from the emission source.

Police aspects of the forensic methods of the study of percentage of water content of the determine the age of the frescoes

AB  - The novels of the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC) Republic of Serbia have introduced the concept of prosecutorial investigation in relation to that of evidence, special evidentiary actions and other software for the operation of the criminal prosecution. The meaning of novels is to conduct harmonization of standards with solutions of modern criminal law practice, particularly with regard to EU standards Serbia applying for membership in the Union. Preventing the most serious forms of crime is the focus of authorized bodies Serbia and in this context combating and preventing all forms of forgery, as is the case with forgeries frescoes and selling them on the world market. In exposed paper the method determining age of the frescoes is proposed. It is based on the use of closed Markov's graphs with three cells. The measurements of contents of water molecules in surrounding area can be done only for the space in which the frescoes is located. This means that followed exposed method is non destructive.
AB  - Novele o krivičnom postupku (ZKP) Republike Srbije imaju uvodni koncept tužilačke istrage u vezi sa ovim dokazima, posebne dokazne radnje i drugi softver za funkcionisanje krivičnog gonjenja. Značenje novela je da sprovede usklađivanje standarda sa rešenjima savremenog krivičnog zakona u praksi, posebno u vezi sa standardima EU Srbije, koja se prijavljuje za članstvo u Uniji. Sprečavanje najozbiljnijih oblika kriminala je fokus nadležnih organa Srbije i u tom kontekstu je sprečavanje i borba protiv svih oblika falsifikata, kao što je slučaj sa falsifikatima fresaka i umetničkih slika i njihova prodaja na svetskom tržištu. U izloženom radu je predložen metod određivanja starosti fresaka. On se zasniva na korišćenju zatvorenih Markovljevih grafova sa tri ćelije. Merenja sadržaja molekula vode u okolini može se uraditi samo za prostor u kome se nalaze freske. To znači da je sledeći izloženi metod koji se koristi - nedestruktivan.

Information-security culture: Imperative of contemporary society

AB  - The importance of building information-security culture of each society has become a well-established idea. The aim of such a culture is the impact on different human behaviors that may affect the overall results of protection of information assets. The authors believe that culture is the 'key' of the information security. Extensive review and analysis of the information security literature have come to the conclusion that the collective consciousness about the use and protection in the field of contemporary forms of crime is very low. In this sense, the goal of this paper is that the examination of information security culture from the standpoint of best practices, support the view that knowledge and education play an important role in building a secure environment with a special emphasis on raising awareness of end-users about the need and importance of data protection, information and knowledge.
AB  - Značaj izgradnje informaciono-bezbednosne kulture svakog društva postala je dobro utemeljena ideja. Cilj takve kulture je uticaj na različita ljudska ponašanja koja se mogu odraziti na ukupne rezultate zaštite informacione imovine. Autori rada smatraju da je kultura 'ključ' informacione bezbednosti. Obimnim pregledom i analizom literature o informacionoj bezbednosti došlo se do zaključka da je kolektivna svest o upotrebi informacionih tehnologija i zaštiti u domenu savremenih oblika kriminaliteta na veoma niskom nivou. U tom smislu, cilj rada je da se, razmatranjem informaciono- bezbednosne kulture sa stanovišta najbolje prakse, podrži stav da znanje i obrazovanje igraju važnu ulogu u izgradnji bezbednog ambijenta sa posebnim akcentom na podizanju svesti krajnjih korisnika o potrebi i važnosti zaštite podataka, informacija i znanja.

AB  - Multiple sensor systems and applications in ecology deserve multidisciplinary approach. Concerning laser implementation in monitoring, main parameters and processes have to be chosen in description of object of interest. The purpose of this paper is to underline the links and usability of scattering matrices in the description of biological objects (cells, nuclei, bacteria, etc). Light scattering processes are unavoidable in application and measurements, based on laser systems. Depending on the measurement systems, angular scattering and differential cross sections carry valuable information, and measurements should confirm chosen simplifications from theory. Shape recognition, size and chemical content could be certainly of interest in one part of ecological monitoring (water). Thermal imaging of objects depends on emissivity (water, ground, etc.) and some simplifications of derived cases are added to the previous.

AB  - Methods for eearly detection, dynamics monitoring and surveillance of fire processes are topics which belong to the method class where high reliability, detection rate and response imply. Although various transformation processes exist for measuring and quantification of the principal parameters of fire processes, the use of optical methods (including ultraviolet, visible and infrared ranges) is increasing. Laser - quantum generator in all three parts of optical range through various measurement methods of real atmospheric parameters or fire environment are for a long time included in this area. Operation methods are related to linear and nonlinear processes enabling different ranges of measurement uncertainty. This paper is on one hand, dedicated to the analysis of up-to-date optical methods based on lidar solutions and on the other to simulation methods and possibilities of modern software tools.
AB  - Metode za rano otkrivanje, praćenje dinamike i nadgledanje požarnih procesa su problematika, koja pripada klasi metoda, gde se podrazumeva visoka pouzdanost, brzina detekcije i odziva. Iako postoje različiti procesi transformacije glavnih parametara požarnih procesa u cilju merenja i kvantifikacije, ipak su optičke metode (uključujući ultraljubičasti, vidljivi i infracrveni opseg) sve više u upotrebi. Laseri - kvantni generatori, u sva tri dela optičkog područja, kroz različite metode merenja parametara atmosfere ili požarne okoline, su odavno uključeni u problematiku. Metode rada su vezane za linearne i nelinearne procese, koji omogućuju različite opsege mernih nesigurnosti. Rad je posvećen, sa jedne strane, analizi savremenih optičkih metoda baziranih na lidarskim rešenjima, a sa druge, metodama simulacije i mogućnostima savremenih softverskih alata.

German occupational system in Serbia in 1941: Military aspects

AB  - The largest part of the German troops deployed in Serbia in 1941 was underclass both as regards the availability of personnel and weapons, as well as the training. German infantry divisions in Yugoslavia until the beginning of 1943 were well below average, either in quantity and quality. While the normal German infantry divisions had three infantry regiments of three battalions, the divisions in Yugoslavia had two regiments of three battalions. Moreover, the average number of a normal infantry battalion was 500 to 600 people, and the reserve about 200 people. On the other hand, weapons of the reserve battalion were not much worse than that of a regular battalion. This difference was noticeable only at the level of people and divisions. While during the first years of the war the regimental artillery in the reserve division consisted mainly of sequestered 37 mm Pito infantry guns and old mortars, the regular regimental artillery had weapons of caliber 75 mm and stronger. The divisional artillery had at least 54 Howitzers 105 and 150 mm, and over 70 antitank guns (by the end of 1941, there were cannons, first 50 mm and soon 75 mm), whereas the unmanned division had 12 to 18 guns and howitzers (mainly highland) caliber 75 and 100 mm and about twenty antitank guns caliber 37 mm (just before the end of the war there emerged stronger and antitank guns). Germans had very few motor vehicles during the entire war in Yugoslavia. By the end of the war, the bulk of their artillery was horse-drawn and only the special pursuit unit was given one or two batteries with motor traction. Until mid-1943, the German troops in Serbia were filled with personnel of older ages of which the largest portion had not served as regular staff. Almost all the officers, except the commanders of regiments and divisions (and some specialists in headquarters) were reserve officers, mostly Austrians. There were a lot of ethnic Germans from Yugoslavia (Volksdeutsche) and some units consisted exclusively of them. It should be taken into account that there were not any Germans in many of the 'German' units, apart from the officer corps. Before finishing operations, the only really elite unit in Serbia was the first Mountain Division; all other units that came from Greece or France were below average. Among the German units used in Serbia until the fall of 1944, the ones that could be noted for their quality were the 7th SS Prinz Eugen Division and various units designed for special anti-guerrilla operations.
AB  - Najveći deo nemačkih jedinica angažovanih u Srbiji 1941. godine je bio niže razredan i po popunjenosti ljudstvom i naoružanjem, a takođe i po obučenosti. Nemačke posadne divizije su sve do početka 1943. g. bile daleko ispod svakog proseka i po kvantitetu i po kvalitetu. Dok su normalne nemačke pešadijske divizije imale tri pešadijska puka sa po tri bataljona posadne divizije su imale dva puka sa po tri bataljona. Prosečno brojno stanje normalnih pešadijskih bataljona je bilo 500 do 600 ljudi, a posadnih oko 200 ljudi. S druge strane, naoružanje posadnih bataljona nije bilo mnogo gore nego regularnih bataljona. Ta razlika je bila osetna tek na nivou puka i divizije. Dok se pukovska artiljerija kod posadnih divizija, prvih godina rata, sastojala uglavnom od zaplenjenih pešadijskih topova 37 mm Pito i starih minobacača, pukovska artiljerija regularnih pukova je imala oruđa kalibra 75 mm i jača. Divizijska artiljerijaje imala najmanje 54 haubice kalibra 105 i 150 mm, kao i preko 70 protivoklopnih topova (od kraja 1941. g. to su bili topovi kalibra, najpre 50 mm, a ubrzo i 75 mm), dotle su posadne divizije imale 12 do 18 topova i haubica (uglavnom brdskih) kalibra 75 i 100 mm, kao i dvadesetak protivoklopnih topova kalibra 37 mm (tek pred kraj rata pojavili su se i jači protivoklopni topovi). Nemci su sve vreme rata u Jugoslaviji imali veoma malo motornih vozila. Do kraja rata najveći deo njihove artiljerije je bio sa konjskom vučom, a samo su specijalni poterni odredi dobijali po jednu ili dve baterije sa motornom vučom. Sve do sredine 1943. g. nemačke jedinice u Srbiji bile su popunjene sa ljudstvom starijih godišta od kojih najveći deo nije služio redovni kadar. Gotovi svi oficiri, osim komandanata pukova i divizija (i nešto specijalista u štabovima) bili su rezervni oficiri, uglavnom Austrijanci. Bilo je puno i folksdojčera, uostalom bilo je i čisto folksdojčerskih jedinica. Treba voditi računa i o tome da u mnogim 'nemačkim' jedinicama uopšte nije bilo Nemaca, osim oficirskog kadra. Pre završnih operacija jedina stvarno elitna jedinica u Srbijije bila 1. brdska divizija, sve ostale jedinice koje su stizale iz Grčke ili Francuske su bile ispod proseka. Od nemačkih jedinica upotrebljenih u Srbiji, pre jeseni 1944. g., kao kvalitetne treba spomenuti pre svega 7. SS Princ Eugen diviziju i razne jedinice namenjene za specijalna protivgerilska dejstva.

AB  - Although a lot has been said and written about the protection of information systems and users of the Internet, only a small number of managers and users of information technologies are aware of the significance of this problem. This can lead to occurrence of risky situations in which business information systems may be threatened. Their inadequate protection may have disastrous effects on the business process itself. The purpose of the paper is to clearly and transparently establish relations between methods and techniques of information system protection and digital forensic investigation, as well as to raise the security awareness and promote security culture as essential elements of the cycle of risk management and protection.
AB  - Iako se o zaštiti informacionih sistema i korisnika interneta često govori i piše, mali broj menadžera i korisnika informacionih tehnologija su svesni značaja ovog problema. To može dovesti do pojave rizičnih incidentnih situacija u kojima su ugroženi poslovni informacioni sistemi. Njihova neadekvatna zaštita može imati katastrofalne posledice na sam poslovni proces. Cilj rada je da se na jasan i transparentan način uspostave i dovedu u vezu metode i tehnike zaštite informacionih sistema sa digitalnom forenzičkom istragom, kao i da se skrene pažnja na bezbednosnu svest i kulturu kao esencijalne elemente ciklusa upravljanja rizikom i zaštitom.

Forensic study of the short circuit as a cause of fire

AB  - The paper presents an overview of laboratory testing of short circuits, the aim being to detect the presence of O2 in the conductors where melting is observed in the event of fire. The optical microscope and scanning electron microscope (SEM) with energy dispersive spectrometer (EDAX) have been applied, as well as structural analysis based on X-ray diffraction. Sample preparation included grinding, polishing and chemical corrosion. Also, in all cases it was determined whether the conductor where melting was observed had been in the O2 atmosphere or not. In order to interpret correctly the results of the laboratory testing, it is necessary to know the circumstances leading to fire and how it developed. In order to reach a reliable conclusion regarding the cause of fire, it is necessary to carry out fire scene investigation in person, or to inspect the fire scene later by means of the related photographs, so as to observe the point of origin of fire and estimate its development. Only then it is possible to state the nature of the examined short circuits, i.e. to reach the conclusion whether a primary or secondary short circuit occurred.
AB  - U radu je dat prikaz laboratorijskog ispitivanja kratkih spojeva sa idejom otkrivanja prisustva O2 u provodnicima u kojima je uočeno stapanje u toku požara. Korišćeni su optički mikroskop i skenirajući elektronski mikroskop (SEM) sa energodisperzionim spektrometrom (EDAX), kao i strukturna analiza bazirana na rendgenskoj difrakciji. Priprema uzoraka je obuhvatila brušenje, poliranje i hemijsko nagrizanje. Takođe, u svim slučajevima je utvrđeno da li je provodnik na kome je uočeno topljenje bio u atmosferi koja sadrži ili ne sadrži O2. Za pravilno tumačenje rezultata laboratorijskog ispitivanja neophodno je poznavanje okolnosti koje su dovele do nastanka požara i dinamike njegovog razvoja. Da bi se doneo pouzdan zaključak o uzroku, potrebno je napraviti ili uviđaj na mesta požara ličnim prisustvom, ili kasniji uvid u mesto događaja uz pomoć foto-dokumentacije, da bi se video centar požara i ocenila dinamika razvoja požara. Samo tada je moguće izjašnjavanje o prirodi ispitivanih kratkih spojeva, tj. donošenje odluke o tome da li je bio u pitanju primarni ili sekundarni kratki spoj.

abstract = "The paper presents an overview of laboratory testing of short circuits, the aim being to detect the presence of O2 in the conductors where melting is observed in the event of fire. The optical microscope and scanning electron microscope (SEM) with energy dispersive spectrometer (EDAX) have been applied, as well as structural analysis based on X-ray diffraction. Sample preparation included grinding, polishing and chemical corrosion. Also, in all cases it was determined whether the conductor where melting was observed had been in the O2 atmosphere or not. In order to interpret correctly the results of the laboratory testing, it is necessary to know the circumstances leading to fire and how it developed. In order to reach a reliable conclusion regarding the cause of fire, it is necessary to carry out fire scene investigation in person, or to inspect the fire scene later by means of the related photographs, so as to observe the point of origin of fire and estimate its development. Only then it is possible to state the nature of the examined short circuits, i.e. to reach the conclusion whether a primary or secondary short circuit occurred., U radu je dat prikaz laboratorijskog ispitivanja kratkih spojeva sa idejom otkrivanja prisustva O2 u provodnicima u kojima je uočeno stapanje u toku požara. Korišćeni su optički mikroskop i skenirajući elektronski mikroskop (SEM) sa energodisperzionim spektrometrom (EDAX), kao i strukturna analiza bazirana na rendgenskoj difrakciji. Priprema uzoraka je obuhvatila brušenje, poliranje i hemijsko nagrizanje. Takođe, u svim slučajevima je utvrđeno da li je provodnik na kome je uočeno topljenje bio u atmosferi koja sadrži ili ne sadrži O2. Za pravilno tumačenje rezultata laboratorijskog ispitivanja neophodno je poznavanje okolnosti koje su dovele do nastanka požara i dinamike njegovog razvoja. Da bi se doneo pouzdan zaključak o uzroku, potrebno je napraviti ili uviđaj na mesta požara ličnim prisustvom, ili kasniji uvid u mesto događaja uz pomoć foto-dokumentacije, da bi se video centar požara i ocenila dinamika razvoja požara. Samo tada je moguće izjašnjavanje o prirodi ispitivanih kratkih spojeva, tj. donošenje odluke o tome da li je bio u pitanju primarni ili sekundarni kratki spoj.",

AB  - The Internet, as a computer network, connects millions of people all around the world and gives them a possibility to access a big quantity of data. Throughout the Internet users exchange data using certain protocols and a part of this communication is private or secret. TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) and IP (Internet Protocol) protocols are the kernel of Internet protocol. Everything that is transmitted through the Internet uses these protocols, but they cannot provide security of data transfer. For example, IP packages can be easily changed and their content can be seen by everybody in every moment, even by an unauthorized person. Today the world is already globally connected and the individuals and institutions need privacy and also the protection from identity theft that is today a very frequent aspect of misuse of the Internet. So, we need transparent and flexible tools to fulfill demands of different users and at the same time capable to achieve the assigned degree of security. Security protocols, as the most prominent SSL (Secure Sockets Layers) and TLS (Transport Layer Security), solve a good part of given problems.
AB  - Internet, kao računarska mreža, povezuje milione ljudi širom sveta i obezbeđuje im pristup velikoj količini informacija. Korisnici preko Interneta razmenjuju podatke na osnovu određenih protokola, a deo te komunikacije je privatnog ili službeno tajnog karaktera. Pri ovoj razmeni, korisnici resursa računarskih sistema, računara u mrežama i samostalnih računara, pre svega žele da budu sigurni da će pristup njihovim podacima i resursima uopšte imati samo oni kojima se pristup dozvoli. Dakle, analogno sigurnosti fizičke imovine korisnici računarskih sistema žele takozvanu računarsku sigurnost. Jezgro Internet protokola predstavljaju TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) i IP (Internet Protocoll) protokoli. Sve što putuje Internetom koristi ove protokole, ali oni ne obezbeđuje sigurnost prenosa podataka. IP paketi se, na primer, mogu lako izmeniti a njihov sadržaj može u bilo kom trenutku da pregleda ma ko, pa i neovlašćena osoba. U svetu koji je danas već globalno povezan, pojedinci i razne institucije imaju potrebe za privatnošću, kao i za zaštitom od krađe identiteta, koja postaje sve češći vid zloupotrebe globalne mreže. Dakle, potrebna su sredstva koja su transparentna i dovoljno fleksibilna da zadovolje zahteve raznih korisnika, a istovremeno ostvare zadati stepen sigurnosti. U ovom radu, pažnja je usmerena na komunikacijske zaštitne mehanizme definisane sigurnosnim protokolima, pri čemu se smatra da su ispunjene ostale kategorije računarske sigurnosti. Protokoli TLS (Transport Layer Security) i SSL (Secure Sockets Layers) su kriptografski protokoli koji omogućavaju sigurnu komunikaciju na Internetu za poslove elektronskog bankarstva i trgovine, e-mail, fax, pristup udaljenim računarima, a korisnicima rešavaju dobar deo navedenih problema.

Fire and explosion prevention in objects of possible terrorist attack

AB  - Nowadays there is an expansion of terrorism in the world, so there is a need for fight against it. Security services would particularly pay attention to prevention activities. Planting of explosive devices is one of the activities of terrorists where the harmful consequences of the blast wave with its pressure and heat on surroundings are used. This paper describes the preventive activities of security services. Those activities mean the fire and sabotage protection and possibility of using the risk theory. The risk theory deals with correlation between positions of different objects in space. The aim of these activities is to minimize the consequences on objects which are on the way of the blast and heat within a closed space (subways, market centers, etc.).
AB  - Danas je u svetu očigledna ekspanzija terorizma, te se javlja potreba za razmatranjem različitih vidova borbe protiv svih njegovih pojavnih oblika. Naročitu pažnju treba pokloniti preventivnom delovanju bezbednosnih subjekata. Podmetanje eksplozivnih naprava je jedna od terorističkih aktivnosti, koja koristi štetne posledice dejstva eksplozivnog talasa u vidu pritiska i toplote na okolinu. U ovom radu je dat pregled preventivnih aktivnosti bezbednosnih subjekata, s ciljem borbe protiv terorizma. Te preventivne aktivnosti podrazumevaju protivdiverzionu zaštitu - pregledi, otkrivanje, delaboracija i uništavanje, kao i razmatranje mogućnosti primene teorije rizika, a u vezi s prostornim rasporedom predmeta u objektima. Minimiziranje rizika od eksplozija i požara, koji su uzročno-posledično povezani, od naročitog je značaja. Takođe je dat pregled tehničkih sredstava koja se mogu koristiti u preventivnim pregledima i za detekciju eksploziva. Analiziran je i problem minimizacije rizika od požara nakon eksplozije nalaženjem optimalnog rasporeda predmeta u prostorijama različitih dužina. Cilj tih aktivnosti je ublažavanje posledica na objekte koji se nalaze na putu dejstva eksplozivnog i toplotnog talasa u nekom zatvorenom prostoru (metroi, tržni centri i sl.). Takođe je uvedena i kontinualna simulacija zavisnosti apsorbovane energije od dužine prostorije.

AB  - The paper represents an attempt to establish an analogy between gas molecule absorption and social processes. Reallocation of electoral votes is estimated on the basis of analogy of the electoral process and absorption of gases. According to the analysis conducted here, one could say that this idea has a good perspective.
AB  - Ranijih godina je bilo pokušaja da se prenesu ideje i metodi iz jedne oblasti delatnosti u drugu, radi boljeg razumevanja kompleksnih fenomena i procesa što je doprinelo usavršavanju i jedne i druge delatnosti. Posebno je matematičko modelovanje prodrlo u ne samo u druge oblasti nauke, veći i gotovo u sve oblasti života i rada. Teško je zamisliti savremenu nauku i savremeni život bez široke primene matematičkog modeliranja. Zamena proučavanog projekta njegovim likom - matematičkim modelom i njegovom analizom i proučavanjem je suština metodologije matematičkog modelovanja. Takodje, treba istaći postojanje tendencije da se društvena kretanja analiziraju, a njihova kretanja predviđaju, na bazi standardnih stohastičkih fizičkih zakonitosti uz primenu teorije fluktuacija. Ove analogije su nesumnjivo korisne i mogu da ubrzaju razvoj drugih nauka, ali naravno, uz jedno ograničenje: treba tačno utvrditi do koje se granice mogu i smeju korisititi analogijie: svako prekoračenje ovih granica moglo bi da dovede do krupnih zabluda (H. Haken, 1977). U radu su opisani procesi ireverzibilne i reverzibilne apsorpcije gasnih molekula. Treba napomenuti da je ireverzibilna apsorpcija davno uvedena u gasne i termodinamičke teorije. Što se tiče reverzibilnih apsorpcija, njena istraživanja su novijeg datuma i inicirana su činjenicom da se kvaziperiodično ponašanje temperature i pritiska nije moglo objasniti preko ireverzibilne apsorpcije. U slučaju izbornog procesa kada imamo samo dva kandidata preraspodela izbornih glasova procenjena je na osnovu analogije izbornog postupka i apsorpcije gasova. Čvrsto opredeljeni glasači imaju tok glasova kao molekuli koji se ireverzibilno apsorbuju, dok su neopredeljeni glasovi glasača analog molekulima koji se reverzibilno apsorbuju. Ovo je jedan od prvih pokušaja da se fizičke zakonitosti koriste u socijalnim problemima. Prema analizama koje su ovde izvršene, moglo bi se reći da ova ideja ima dobru perspektivu.

AB  - Using duty weapons is part of the obligatory professional skills of police officers, for which they must be trained in the appropriate way. The aim of this paper is to define the efficiency of the basic training program in handling weapons involving police officers of both sexes. The research population included 71 subjects (25 female subjects and 46 male subjects), students of the Academy of Criminalistic and Police Studies in Belgrade, who attended the basic course in handling duty weapons, and who had no prior knowledge of shooting. The subjects were tested 3 times during the course: at the beginning of the course (Test I), in the middle (Test II), and at the end of the course (Test III). The tests included precise shooting at a circle target with 10 bullets and at a distance of 10 meters. Each test was applied under standardized conditions of the rifle range, without a time limit on the shooting. The results were analyzed using multivariate statistic methods (the GLM multivariate model). Generally speaking, the results showed a statistically significant difference in shooting training efficiency between different sex subjects, at a Wilks' Lambda level of 0.849, F = 6.046, p = 0.040. The results showed that the subjects showed significant differences only at the initial measuring (Test I), whereas under the influence of training, the shooting skills of both groups had become homogeneous. In the case of the female subjects, the initial shooting efficiency was 29.32% (Test I), 63.04 % (Test II), and 69.32% (Test III), while for the male subjects it was 50.74% (Test I), 70.37 % (Test II), and 73.92% (Test III). In other words, the same shooting program increased the final shooting efficiency level by 136.43% among the women, while among the men the increase was 45.69%.
AB  - Upotreba službenog oružja pripada kategoriji profesionalnih policijskih veština i sposobnosti, za koje policajci moraju biti osposobljeni na adekvatan način. Cilj ovog rada je definisanje efikasnosti primenjenog programa osnovne obuke za upotrebu službenog oružja kod populacije policajaca oba pola. Istraživanje je realizovano na uzorku od 71 ispitanika (25 devojaka i 46 mladića), studenata Kriminalističko policijske akademije iz Beograda, koji su pohađali osnovni kurs obuke u rukovanju službenim oružjem, a bez prethodnog iskustva u pucanju iz pištolja. Ispitanici su testirani tri puta za vreme obuke i to na početku (Test I), u sredini (Test II) i na kraju obuke (Test III). Testiranje je realizovano primenom preciznog pucanja u kružnu metu sa 10 metaka i sa distance od 10 metara. Svaki test je izvršen u standardizovanim uslovima pištoljskog strelišta i bez vremenskog ograničenja pucanja. Sirovi rezultati su analizirani primenom multivarijantne statističke metode - generalnog linearnog modelovanja (GLM). Na generalnom nivou je utvrđena statistički značajna razlika između efikasnosti pucanja između polova na nivou Wilks Lambde od 0,849, F=6,046, p=0.040. Takođe analize su pokazale da je razlika utvrđena jedino na inicijalnom testiranju na Testu I. U odnosu na ispitanice vrednost efikasnosti upotrebe službenog oružja je bila 29,32% (Test I), 63,04% (Test II) i 69,32% (Test III), dok je za ispitanike bila na nivou od 50,74% (Test I), 70,37% (Test II) i 73,92% (Test III), respektivno. Isti program osnovne obuke za upotrebu službenog oružja je kod ispitanica povećao efikasnost pucanja za 136,43%, dok je kod ispitanika taj napredak bio na nivou od 45,69%.
