Modeling of crystallization process of continuously casted strip of aluminium Al 99.5 on the type '3c' installation
Modeliranje procesa kristalizacije kontinuirano livene trake aluminijuma Al 99.5 na uređaju tipa '3c'
Apstrakt
Studying of processes connected with continuous casting is equally important from technical, economical and technological aspect. All of the previous experimental research [1,2] had shown functional connection between appearance of differences in temperatures during crystallization and differences in microstructure of materials. This problem has been overcame by putting 'the arranger of metals' on given installation. Meanwhile theoretic research of these processes contributes in attainment of reliable quality rate of process, which basically uses non-linear mathematical model for unstationary temperature field. Such a model uses numerical methods with computer appliance. Purpose of this paper was to determine position and depth of solidification zone, also the time of solidification, by using certain mathematical model. Based on everything that has been stated here one can also determine the size of interdendrite distance, which is rather important for analysis of structure obtained in... process of casting.
Proučavanje procesa povezanih sa kontinuiranim livenjem podjednako je važno sa tehničkog, ekonomskog i tehnološkog aspekta. Sva prethodna eksperimentalna istraživanja Š1,2Ć pokazuju funkcionalnu zavisnost između pojave razlike temperature u toku kristalizacije i razlike u mikrostrukturi materijala. Taj problem je savladan postavljanjem 'raspoređivača metala' na postojeći uređaj. Međutim, teorijska istraživanja tih procesa doprinose postizanju pouzdanosti u kvalitetu procesa, pri čemu se u osnovi koristi nelinearni matematički model za nestacionarna temperaturna polja. Takav model podrazumeva primenu numeričkih metoda kompjuterom. Cilj ovog rada sastoji se u određivanju pozicije i dubine zone očvršćavanja, kao i vremena očvršćavanja, korišćenjem pouzdanog matematičkog modela. Na osnovu svega ovde utvrđenog, takođe se može odrediti veličina međudendritnog rastojanja koje je vrlo važno za analizu strukture dobijene u procesu livenja.
