Weight coefficents determination based on parameters in factor analysis
Abstract
One of the crucial problems in decision making process is to assess the relative importance or weights of different attributes. This paper presents an objective methodology to determine relative criteria weights, which is based on factor analysis especially principal components analysis. According to the methodology, represented in this paper, there is a possibility to determine weight coefficients from Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin measure and from squared factor loadings.
