Reliability in assessing basic manipulation of CZ 99 official weapon

Abstract

This research was aimed at determining the reliability of the test suggested for the evaluation of the basic handling the official pistol, type CZ 99, when it is used preventively. The research was carried out at the sample of 110 students of the II year of the Police Academy in Belgrade by the test-retest method, with the three-day interval between trials. The task consisted of the following: a tested stood two meters away from the marker positioned at the breast height, in the parallel stand, dressed in uniform with the pistol in the holster and a spare charger; at the signal of the measurer he pulled a gun, repeated it, took a diagonal stand and aimed at the target with both hands; he pulled the trigger, then eject the charger, took out the spare charger and put it into the gun; he put the holster back into the initial position, took the diagonal stand again and pulled the trigger twice. The time was measured from the signal for the beginning of the test to the second sound of the striker. The results of the ANOVA linear regression shown that the contents of two measuring considerably correspond to each other statistically at the level F=23.02 and p>0,000, and the adjusted coefficient of determination (Adj. R2) indicates that 18% of common variability was measured by the tests. On the basis of the achieved results, it has been concluded that the test is reliable and that it can be used for further research.

Cilj istraživanja je bio da se utvrdi pouzdanost predloženog testa za procenu osnovne manipulacije službenim pištoljem CZ 99 u situaciji preventivnog korišĆenja i/ili upotrebe. Istraživanje je sprovedeno na uzorku od 110 studenata II godine Policijske akademije metodom test - retest, sa pauzom izmeĐu merenja od 3 dana. Zadatak se sastojao u sledećem: ispitanik stoji dva metra udaljen od markera postavljenog u visini grudi u paralelnom stavu u uniformi sa pištoljem u futroli i rezervnim okvirom; na znak merioca poteže pištolj, repetira ga, zauzima dijagonalni stav i dvoručno pištolj nanosi ka cilju; povlači obarač, zatim izbacuje okvir, vadi rezervni okvir i stavlja u pištolj; navlaku pištolja vraća u prednji položaj, ponovo zauzima dijagonalni stav i povlači obarač dva puta. Vreme se meri od znaka za početak izvođenja testa do drugog zvuka udarače. Rezultati ANOVE linearne regresije su pokazali da je predmet oba merenja statistički značajno isti na nivou F = 23.02 i p > 0.000, a prilagođeni koeficijent determinacije (Adj. R2) ukazuje da se testovima izmerilo 18% zajedničkog varijabiliteta. Ha osnovu dobijenih rezultata je zaključeno da je test pouzdan i da se može koristiti u narednim istraživanjima.
